Porsche 996 911 GT2 for Full Sound System and Passport 9500ci w/ Radar Mirror

This vehicle was brought to us from Tysons Corner Collision Center. After having the car here for a few days the customer came by to see the progress and decided to go through with a full system upgrade. For the radio we went with a Pioneer DEH-80PRS which is the brands top of the line single din radio and is made for high audio quality. After the radio it was time to upgrade the cars speakers. For this vehicle we went with the Focal Kevlar series. These speakers fall one line below the top of the line Focal Utopia line, but are still an amazing speaker. The Kevlar speakers require an amplifier to really utilize their full ability so we added an Arc Audio xdi805 amplifier. This is a very nice 5-channel amplifier which powers all of the vehicles speakers and has an extra channel for a Sub-woofer. We opted to use that extra channel to power a sub that was placed in a custom fit enclosure under the roll cage and behind the driver seat.

So with a full rockin' sound system in the car it was time to focus on protecting the driver in such a fast car. For this we added our go to Passport 9500ci. This is a fully concealed system with dual front laser diffusers, front radar detector, a single rear laser diffuser, and a GPS antennae for locating speed and traffic light cameras. The system also comes with a small display and control module, as well as a cut off switch for quickly powering on or off the system. These units also have a USB adapter plug located above the drivers feet to allow easy updates of new camera and speed trap locations. The Passport 9500ci is a top of the line concealed radar system with unmatched performance for everyday use.

For this car the customer also chose to have the Radar display inserted into the rear view mirror. For this we send out their radar display and their mirror to the guys at www.Radar-Mirror.com who modify the mirror so the display is behind the glass. When this is completed the information displayed from the radar detector can be seen through the mirror and when the system is turned off you can not tell anything is there.
